We’re working with a leading Banbury-based business seeking a highly capable Commercial Finance Manager to take ownership of key operational finance functions, provide strong leadership to AP and AR teams, and deliver critical financial insights to support business growth.

The Role

As Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in:

  • Leading & Supporting Teams: Overseeing AP and AR functions, ensuring efficient processing and effective team leadership.

  • Cash Flow & FX Management: Managing short- and long-term cash flow forecasting and foreign exchange exposure.

  • Compliance & Reporting: Owning duty deferment accounts, bonded warehouse compliance, and accurate bank reconciliations.

  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Preparing P&L forecasts and supporting the annual budgeting process with financial modelling.

  • Rebates Management: Managing rebate agreements, reconciliations, and commercial policy compliance.

  • Process Improvements: Driving efficiencies and ensuring robust financial controls across operational finance functions.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Part or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in a finance management role with strong cash flow, forecasting, and AP/AR knowledge.

  • Exposure to customs processes, bonded warehouse regulations, and HMRC duty deferment (desirable).

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and a problem-solving mindset.

  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling expertise.
